The Sandbrook Vaults
The Community Pub in the Heart of Town

Sandbrook Vaults Stoke City Supporters Club

Paul, along with his brothers, has always been a Stoke City supporter. For as long as he can remember he would take his £2 pocket money each home game, travel on a bus from Newcastle, buy his ticket into the match and stand up in the Boothen End watching his team play.
When we first took over the pub in September 2003 we were surprised at how many closet Stoke City fans there were. Paul can remember watching the first Stoke City televised game we had shown in the pub on his own, but as people grew to know about Paul's passion for the
'Red & White Army', as well as football in general, it is becoming increasingly difficult to find an empty seat when a Stoke match is on the box!
Paul is a season ticket holder and travels up to as many matches as he can by car. Some away matches he can not get to for one reason or another and has been talking to other local fans about getting to the matches. As a result, we have plans to get together a supporters club to be run from the pub. This would enable like minded fans to travel from our pub to games by means of a mini-bus/small coach (away game supporters will need their true supporters cards). We would also arrange a regular meeting so as to discuss future game travel and other social activities.
